PatriotSoft was founded in 1987 by Luc I. Suryo to provide quality service and advanced products for high performance UNIX networks. Luc's previous experience working as a system programmer for Sun Microsystems and his complete understanding of the entire Solaris network computing environment assured the company's early success. Partnership was established with Sun Microsystems in Europe and the United States. The company currently operates in the Netherlands, the United States and Indonesia.
    Additionally, PatriotSoft is supported by a large network of professionals on various disciplines working for the company on a more or less regulary basis.

    IT Analysts reckon that UNIX will still play the dominant role on the worldwide server market in the year 2000 and beyond. PatriotSoft has focused on Solaris networks, considering Sun Microsystems ahead of the UNIX race, being number one in unit shipments, and way ahead of the total shipments of IBM, HP, DEC, SGI and all other UNIX vendors combined.

    PatriotSoft has developed various popular packages for Solaris, available for free download at ftp.patriotsoft.com. It has also developed the K-engine, a complete and customizable internet/intranet messaging and publishing tool written in perl.
